While I’m a San Diego based wedding florist, I drove over to Arizona for a super fun day of designing!! These babies are all from a gorgeous styled shoot I did with my good friend over at Ball Photo Co. As you can see, the white stands out a little more than normal and it’s all thanks to the gorgeous array of dark toned flowers we got to play with!! For example, the white flower with the dark center is an Anenome. Beautiful alone, but eye-catching when used in a moody palette. One of the popping dark flowers to help the Anenome stand out is the Dahlia ~which comes in an array of colors. The Dahlia is extremely versatile and plays well with others, if you couldn’t tell already. The bud that looks like little balls of tight flowers? Scabiosa. The dainty dark beauties that resemble daisies in a way? Cosmos. Only one has a name that makes you think of the galaxy, but they’re ALL out of this world!! Just goes to show, no matter what wedding floral design you desire, it can come to life AND be breathtaking!!
